The Organization is a civil society organization and Non Governmental Organization with zero profit. We work in line with inline with United Nations and also holds a consultative Status (Special) with UN-ECOSOC. The organization is accredited by UNDPINGO, UNDP, UNEP, UNODC, UNIDO, UNISDR, UNFCC, and observer to the Green Climate Fund (GCF) South Korea. The organization focuses on women, children, youths, elderlies, corruption, justice, climate, Disaster amongst others.

Mission Statement “Our focus is to assist Australian Governments, Communities, Schools, Sporting Clubs, Churches, Welfare groups and Service Clubs to rediscover the proactive and protective options of best practice prevention models in the alcohol and other drug arena. In so doing to present society, and the emerging generation (in particular), with resiliency developing, and viable prevention and demand reduction options, around alcohol and substance use and abuse.” In fulfilling this Mission we envision the following… “To shift the community and particularly adolescent, young adult and family attitudes about alcohol and other drugs away from the cultural expectation of participation, to consider the option of ‘not having to’. Through our Education, Advocacy and Resource process we seek to relevantly engage, educate and recalibrate cultural values through ‘Fence building’ processes including curriculum delivery, strategic partnerships and sponsorship of other proactive prevention based and resiliency building community strategies.” As a pioneering movement in this space, the Dalgarno Institute (Coalition Of Alcohol & Drug Educators) is a long standing Public Interest, not-for-profit organisation, and as such is committed to assisting Educators, Teachers and other Learning Facilitators, to have high quality, relevant and contemporary resources - giving them the opportunity to deliver the most effective resiliency developing, Demand Reduction and harm prevention alcohol and other drug (AOD) education program for their specific audiences. Our ongoing endeavour is to give the emerging generation the best possible opportunity to maximise their potential and minimise harms - particularly around AOD issues. The Dalgarno Institute seeks to empower, enable and equip proactive education and/or community focused organisations in assisting them to become resiliency investing, Demand Reduction and prevention focused change agents for the families and young people in their sphere of influence.

We work with the communities and other like minded parties to find solutions to issues affecting youth and women. Our interest is mainly on health; where we use a range of skills and approaches to do prevention alcohol and drug abuse.

CEDRO´s permanent organizational strategy includes the active participation of public and private institutions, schools, universities, grass-roots organizations, farmers, youth groups, churches, unions, businesses, local governments, armed and police forces, mass media, and international and foreign cooperation agencies, creating a concert of efforts to fight drug consumption.

Sou funcionário publico tenho varias formações na área social , já fundei algumas associações culturais e sociais. Objectivo sempre a apoiar e trabalhar fortemente na melhoria de vida da nossa comunidade ou seja lugar onde eu vivo. A sociedade é a base da família por isso eu não me desligo dela. Com projectos e planos de actividades em carteira e algumas delas em execução sem financiamentos e apoios de terceiros quer as instituições locais, nacionais e internacionais, sempre realizemos e implementamos o que podemos. Agora o foco é na prevenção contra a droga. uma área difícil cheio de problemas mais queremos apostar a fim de recuperar e ajudar os que já estão destruídos e que podem ser no sentido de lhes afastar dos problemas causadas pelas drogas. E fazer com que a sociedade seja mais recuperada e preparada para se viver, com segurança.
