Prevention Hub Canada: Community Guidelines

Thanks for joining Prevention Hub Canada!

Prevention Hub Canada, a network for individuals and organizations working in youth substance abuse prevention, aims to connect people and knowledge for effective substance abuse prevention. It is the Canadian branch of the global Prevention Hub.

Please:

  • Contribute! You have a lot to offer your network colleagues so do not hesitate to share your relevant knowledge, resources, support and experience.
  • Ask questions!
  • Respect people’s knowledge base, world view and feelings.
  • Be respectful of the length of your post; we ask that you be as concise as possible.
  • Be respectful of other people’s mistakes. If someone posts an unnecessarily long post or an error and you choose to respond, do so kindly.
  • Ensure that you have reviewed all responses to a comment before you respond.
  • Disclose any conflicts of interest.

Please DO NOT:

  • Post irrelevant links, advertisements or private personal information.
  • Personally attack a colleague.
  • Insult people or use profanity.

When you participate, you are agreeing to participate in accordance with these guidelines. In the event that members do not follow these guidelines, CCSA reserves the right to revoke your access to Prevention Hub Canada.
