The US National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) will be holding its fourth annual Drug Facts Week from January 27th, 2014. Community-based events will be taking place across the country aiming to encourage teens to get factual answers from scientific experts about drugs and drug abuse. NIDA provides an online toolkit that advises teens and their adult advisors how to create an event, publicise it, find an expert, and obtain scientific information on drugs. Event holders who register will receive free booklets with science-based facts about drugs, designed specifically for teens.
